Tommy was a member of Cowboy, Gregg Allman's Laid Back Band and the Capricorn Records Rhythm Section. He has performed or recorded with the Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gov't Mule, Billy Joe Shaver, Dickey Betts, Bonnie Bramlett and many others. Levon Helm recorded two of his songs.
